Are you required to have a wedding planner for your wedding?
Having expert support is the best way to ensure your celebration is everything you dreamed. Andaz weddings requires an outside wedding coordinator. We encourage our couples to select from our preferred planner list. A six-month minimum service is required from your contracted wedding planner. Any coordinator not on our preferred planner list will need approval from Resort.
What entertainment is allowed outdoors?
DJs are allowed outdoors or indoors. Full bands are only allowed indoors. If you have a trio or acoustic singer outside you are permitted with them during ceremony, cocktail hour or dinner as long as they stay within our noise compliance. Andaz provides outdoor built in speakers for weddings to use.
What is required to fully secure a date and venue?
To fully secure your wedding at the Andaz we require a 30% deposit and a signed contract. Your deposit is 30% of your contracted food and beverage minimum.
How do per person open package bars work?
Our per person open bar packages are based on full guest guarantee minus children under the age of 12yrs. Pricing for per person open bar packages are based an average of alcohol and non-alcoholic beverage consumption. Open bar packages have two couple's cocktails included. What decor or items included with Andaz Weddings?
Below are a few of the included items with your wedding at no additional charge. Please reach out to your Event Manager for any additional information.
- Floor Length Linens: Moss Green, Seafoam Blue and Stone Gray
- Textured Floor Length Linens: White, Ivory, Taupe and Charcoal
- Linen Napkins: White, Black, Navy, Gold, Gray and Ivory
- Plates, Silverware and Glassware
- White Folding Chairs for Outdoor and Indoor Events

How do contracted room blocks work?
You're not required to have a contracted room block to host your wedding at Andaz Scottsdale. If you decide to contract a room block, we require a minimum of 10 rooms nightly for a discounted room rate. You will be financially responsible for 80% of the contracted room blocks achievement.
What are the wedding tasting process?
Our wedding tastings are scheduled a minimum of 4 months prior to your wedding day. We recommend your wedding coordinator be present to discuss all details regarding your wedding day. Your Andaz Event Manager will provide you with menu selections prior to your tasting.
- Complimentary cake tasting with $10,000 or less food & beverage minimum
- Complimentary full tasting for 2 people with $10,000 - $20,000 food & beverage minimum
- Complimentary full tasting for 4 people with $20,000 or more food & beverage minimum
Menu tastings are offered for the couple based on availability on Monday - Thursdays from 10:00AM - 3:00PM. Additional guests welcomed at a $125.00++ per person price.
When is your final payment due?
Your final pre-payment is due 18 days prior to your first day of arrival. You can also make payment prior to your final payment due date. Contact your Event Manager for additional pre-payment options.
What are the outdoor noise policy?
To remain compliant with Paradise Valley noise ordinance we have a 9:00AM start time and 10:00PM end time for any outdoor events. To also remain compliant with decibel regulations we provide speakers for your entertainment to connect at no additional cost.
The majority of our weddings do their ceremony, cocktails and dinner outside with dancing inside. You have the ability to keep the party going until 01:30AM inside any of our ballrooms.
How much are vendor meals?
Vendor meals are priced at $65.00 per person + tax and service charge
How much are children's meals?
Children under the age of 12yrs of age are $50.00 per child + service fee and tax. Children under the age of 12yrs of age are not counted in your per person open bar.

Collaborative Diagramming
A collaborative program that helps you and your Event Manager design professional create customized room diagrams and seating to design the best room layouts for your event. You can make your own edits to diagrams to ensure room setups match your vision.

Hyatt’s proprietary group reservation process with customized links to allow your guests to book online within the group block. It also gives you the ability to view reports through the Hyatt Planner Portal.
